La Leche League provides information, counseling and a support group for mothers who wish to breastfeed their infants. The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at BlackWater Cafe in Stockton. The Blackwater Cafe is located at 912 North Yosemite Avenue, in Stockton.
Their mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.
